Trade Finance Analyst - EMEA

Honeywell is spinning off its Advanced Materials business into an independent, publicly traded company by the end of 2025 or early 2026 called Solstice Advanced Materials. This new entity will focus on sustainability-oriented specialty chemicals and materials, with an estimated revenue of around $3.8 billion and an EBITDA margin exceeding 25% in FY24. The spin-off company will benefit from a greater strategic focus on innovation, enabling the development of new, more sustainable solutions and products with next-generation chemistry to create further value for shareowners. An Trade Finance Analyst is needed to join the new spin-off company.

As a Trade Finance Analyst at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a crucial role in managing trade finance operations and assisting our business activities in the EMEA region. You will be accountable for analyzing trade finance transactions to negotiate clear and fair Bank Guarantees and Standby letters of credit , ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial facilitate to our global trade operations. This role requires strong thoughtful skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, together with knowledge of UCP 600, URDG and ISP98  Banking practices  working in a commercial environment

You will report directly to our Treasury Manager and you'll work out of our Dublin, Ireland location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our trade finance operations, ensuring smooth and timely execution of transactions and minimizing financial risks.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Analyze trade finance transactions and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies. Full understanding of banking practices with regards to trade finance. Work with internal stakeholders to facilitate trade operations and resolve any issues or discrepancies, negotiating both with our customer and internal stakeholder. Monitor and manage trade finance documentation, including letters of credit, guarantees, and other trade instruments. Conduct financial thoughtfulness and risk assessments for trade finance transactions. Provide facilitate and guidance to business units on trade finance matters. Maintain effective banking relationship and monitor associated trade finance lines Work closely with the wider treasury team to release payments and monitor cash Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to trade finance.
YOU MUST HAVE

    •   Experience in trade finance or a related field
    •   Strong knowledge of trade finance products and instruments
    •   Proficiency in financial thoughtfulness and risk assessment
    •   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


WE VALUE
 
    •   Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
    •   Experience in international trade and knowledge of EMEA trade regulations
    •   Familiarity with trade finance systems and software
    •   Strong communication and people-oriented skills
