Trade Compliance Analyst USMCA
**Job Description:** The **Trade Compliance Analyst** is responsible for the daily administration of the division’s import and export compliance program in compliance with U.S. and applicable non-U.S. import/export control laws and regulations and company policies and procedures. **Primary Responsibilities** + Support the strategic development, delivery, and execution of a standardized trade compliance program in coordination with the USMCA Team. + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. and non-U.S. import/export control laws and regulations, company policies and procedures while enabling the business to achieve its objectives with velocity + Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and work instructions to support functional area of responsibility as needed. + Manage Post Entry audits of division’s Customs brokers filings + Review and manage local (HTSUS) Harmonize Tariff Schedule classifications for components and finished goods; submit database and required documentation to appropriate parties + Manage Customs broker requests to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all entries submitted to U.S. CBP and Canada CBSA + Support in the management of the U.S. Value Reconciliation Process + Assist with maintaining & developing Duty Drawback programs + Assist with the internal auditing of all import/export activities + Conducting packaging & supporting substantial transformation reviews + Collect, assess, and issue Duty Preference Certificates (ie. USMCA, GSP) and ensure compliance with applicable requirements + Gather information regarding risks and issues, and review status of projects with upper management + participate in necessary training (both initial and ongoing) to understand USMCA and other FTA laws to ensure accuracy of data as needed. + Read and interpret legal documents, clarify requirements to a broad audience + Act as a liaison and communicate with internal customers and external suppliers on requests **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Supply Chain or related field preferred + Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) preferred + 5+ years of experience performing complex trade compliance related activities + Deep knowledge of tariff classification + Proven experience successfully managing medium to high complexity projects. + Minimum 3 years of experience in project management of operations or manufacturing experience OR + Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance or import/export work + Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Customs import and export regulations and Incoterms + Adhere to the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) laws, governmental regulations and corporate polices and procedures within the organization + Advanced Microsoft Excel – using formulas such as VLookup, concatenate, and pivot tables etc,. (Access preferred) + Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail + Strong communication skills - requires an articulate, detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills (verbal communication, telephone manners, e-mail etiquette) + Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task and discern priorities + Advanced English is required (Please upload resume in English) We provide a great package of benefits on top of the Labor Law.
