We’re looking for a dedicated, hands-on Trade Assistant / Storeperson to join our high-performing team! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you will contribute to the production and maintenance of cutting-edge hydraulic systems.

In this role, you’ll assist with stripping and inspecting hydraulic components, support machining and workshop tasks, and play a key part in running the store and managing deliveries. If you have a passion for teamwork, quality, and keeping things running smoothly, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the stores area using SAP software, including receiving, dispatching, and accurate inventory tracking.

Handle all incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring parts are correctly documented and processed efficiently.

Assist with the housekeeping and organisation of both the workshop and stores to maintain a clean and productive environment.

Strip pumps and motors, ensuring components are carefully handled and prepared for inspection or reassembly.

Inspect stripped components to confirm they meet required standards, collaborating with team members on any issues identified.

Support workshop operations through basic machining tasks, part preparation, and general assistance to trades as needed.

Contribute to production efficiency by working closely with technicians, taking initiative, and promptly escalating any part or component issues.

Qualifications

Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen

Current forklift licence (essential)

Experience in a similar workshop or mechanical role

Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in hydraulics

Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP (preferred)

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
