Overview of Aftersales:
The team ensures that we achieve excellence throughout our Aftersales operations in the UK and deliver on our customer promises. Our team of experts continually monitor activity and manage the performance of our Dealer and Authorised Repairer network to ensure that we are maximising our performance. We have over 190 Dealers and Authorised Repairers across the UK and work hand in hand with them to deliver success. Aftersales is a key to both our company and Dealer networks profitability and our collaborative success sustains the Nissan marketplace of the future.
Overall Purpose of Role:
The principle purpose of the role is to assess wholesale market penetration and deliver Parts marketing strategies to increase sales / profit whilst ensuring that competitive risks are identified and countermeasures put in place. The management of the Trade Parts Network consisting of 60 specialist Dealers providing leadership, support and motivation via an outsourced Field Team consisting of 5 specialist contract Staff. Management of the Bodyshop Programmes and network of 180 independent Body Shops ensuring customer expectations are exceeded and delivering genuine parts compliance via a managed service. Build and maintain relationships with Insurers and large Bodsyhop Customers to grow parts penetration. Manage the Controller delivering Tyre, Oil Number plates and Consumables programmes together with Parts Product Management.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic plan to penetrate the Trade Parts opportunity taking advantage of current Parc ageing.Constantly monitor and evaluate developments in the Aftermarket ensuring any threats to NMGB market share are countered and opportunities exploited.Build & deliver the NMGB Trade Parts business plan & KPI’sLead and Manage the Nissan Trade Dealer Network and relationships attending Dealer / group reviews supporting action plan implementation via the field team.Lead the strategic operation of the Trade field team to maximise opportunities with Dealers and independent Motor Traders.Lead the Nissan Bodyshop Network strategic development and relationshipsFoster and grow relationships with insurer and large body shop customers developing strategic partnerships to grow genuine parts complianceVisit IMT & Bodyshop customers to gather real time market feedback and identify opportunities for growthOversee the operation of the Trade Parts and Bodyshop Programme managed services ensuring value for money & KPI delivery.Work with Nissan Europe to ensure optimal range of products available for UK market developing VA & Reman opportunities to compete in the Aftermarket..Development and implementation of trade parts communications strategy, including campaign planning.Seek out and evaluate third party programmes to support Trade Parts sales growth, developing any business case and obtaining the required approval through to pilot and implementation.Develop strategic plans to transition the Trade & Bodyshop Programmes through electrificationManage the Controller within the Team responsible for Parts Product and Workshop ProgrammesSkills and Experience:
Previous experience in an Automotive OEMExperience in Aftermarket Sales / Trade Bodyshop Business DevelopmentData & Market Analysis experience would be an advantageNetwork Development or network operations would also be advantageousIT literate with strong Excel and PowerPoint skillsBudget control and external agency / supplier management beneficialSales KPI and calculation methodology.Overview of the support we give you:
