Job Description:

Job Purpose:

To track every consignment to destination under the most expedite and efficient routing to ensure compliance with client requirements and Marken Quality Standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all shipments are tracked and milestones are updated in Maestro.Ensure conditioning process of the shipment as required and update the proper milestone in Maestro. This conditioning process may include: Dry Ice Replenishment, Re-packaging and / or LabelingDefine the best possible route to dispatch the shipment to its final destination taking in consideration:Direct Flight using OAG to find out flight availability.Cheapest OptionMost Experienced AirlineArrival times to comply with scheduled delivery requirements.Obtain a pre-booked MAWB and consign to the receiving agent or MARKEN office.Inform Dispatch that a shipment is ready to be tendered to the Airline as per the respective COT.Enter the applicable routing legs into MaestroSend the Domestic Alert through Maestro and confirm receptionUse the appropriate reporting tools to monitor compliance of milestones in Maestro.Liaise with all relevant departments within the Global and Domestic Marken network to ensure that all customer requirements are met.Collaborate with all Marken offices and Local Service Providers to ensure the logistics transfer is handled efficiently thus meeting the desired turnaround times.Analysis of repetitive operational problems and development of possible service solutions.

Requirements:

Intermediate experience  in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)Thorough understanding of Aviation/Airline networksExcellent communication skills and ability to influence othersExcellent problem solving and prioritization skills essentialFlexibility in working hours required which may include weekend coverage
