In this position...
In this role you will support the application, integration, and validation of the FNV 3.x Electrical Architecture to a specific vehicle. This role involves assisting with the adaptation of hardware and software components that make up the core FNV 3.x platform to specific vehicle programs, ensuring seamless information flow, and contributing to the overall system quality and efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or electrical/software integration, preferably within the automotive industry.
Basic understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, software integration principles, and overall system design.
Proficiency in identifying and escalating technical issues and risks within complex systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Familiarity with common engineering tools and software (e.g., Jira, Integrator, or similar project management/issue tracking systems).
Ability to collaborate and connect cross-functionally
Tenacity and a willingness to work in evolving states of ambiguity

Experience with vehicle product development lifecycle (e.g., GPDS, FPDS).
Familiarity with specific automotive domains such as ADAS, infotainment, body controls, or powertrain controls.
Understanding of hardware/software interfaces and system dependencies.
Prior experience supporting vehicle program launch activities or post-launch issue resolution.
Basic knowledge of quality assurance processes and system performance metrics.
Experience with business analysis methods (TARR, NPV) supporting cost / benefit analysis

What you'll do...
Represent the Tech Platform in Vehicle Program forums, and represent the interests of Vehicle Programs in platform efforts
Championing complexity control within program content and cross carlines
Support delivery of vehicle programs, OTA updates, and quality actions
Driving architecture and strategy changes through the cross-functional teams and throughout the lifecycle of the Programs
Managing communication of all changes, cost, investment, and adherence to feature/hardware bundle requirements through standard scorecards.
Partnering with Vehicle Programs to ensure balanced enterprise solutions with focus on Platform approach. Strong relationships and Over-communication at all levels is key to success.
Driving a quality focus into Platform disciplines including leading metrics.
Driving cost opportunities at a Platform level through the Vehicle Program life cycle (TVM).
Driving the execution of technology migration plans and productivity-related initiatives.
Managing Platform timelines, risk mitigation plans and cost/investment to ensure on-time and on-target delivery.
Execute assigned tasks related to vehicle program deliverables, including tracking and updating program-related progress and evidence in tools like Integrator or Jira.
Support the creation, documentation, and maintenance of program-specific system requirements, Bills of Features, and technical documentation (e.g., Tech Unit PDL).
Assist in identifying potential risks to system delivery and support the development and documentation of Delivery Recovery Plans (DRPs).
Escorting changes through the required Decision Forums (DFs): Architecture Change Control, Unified Backlog, Platform Change Control, Vehicle Program Change Control, etc. Helping enterprise make faster decisions and reduce repeat DFs.
