Your mission, roles and responsibilities

At Forvia, we’re shaping the future of sustainable mobility—and we’re looking for a TPM Maintenance Coordinator to lead the technical backbone of our Maintenance Engineering team at our Fraser, Michigan facility.

This is not your average maintenance role. You’ll be the technical authority behind our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy, ensuring our manufacturing equipment runs at peak performance through world-class preventive maintenance, data-driven reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
As the TPM Maintenance Coordinator, you will:

Lead Equipment Care Implementation across all manufacturing assets.Define and manage Level 3–5 Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.Develop and enforce equipment standards, BOMs, and PM task lists in collaboration with the Launch Team.Own the spare parts strategy—balancing uptime with cost efficiency.Coordinate with production, process, and controls engineers to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.Serve as Key User for SAP, MII, DMC, and ARIBA—maintaining master data, training users, and ensuring system accuracy.Audit PM compliance, analyze breakdowns, and drive root cause corrective actions.Support OEM upgrades, major repairs, and capital projects.Partner with HSE and FES teams to ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Back up the E&M Manager and contribute to KPI tracking, budgeting, and inventory management.Your profile and competencies to succeed 5+ years of SAP experience in a maintenance or engineering environment.Deep knowledge of TPM lifecycle, preventive maintenance, and reliability engineering.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience managing MRO storerooms, spare parts, and vendor relationships.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical excellence.Familiarity with OSHA standards, safety audits, and continuous improvement tools (FES, AITF, etc.).What we can do for you At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.  We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
