Tooling & Operational Excellence Technician (Monday - Friday)

Our Sumter, SC location is seeking production associates to join our shop floor. Are you ready to shape the future with us? **YOUR TASKS** This position supports tire build operations by managing tooling, spare parts, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient, safe, and organized production. **HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT** + Support tire build operations by controlling tooling, spare parts, and local inventory (drums, segments, transfer rings, operator tools, etc.). + Encourage staff engagement by empowering employees to surface improvement ideas and collaborate on solutions + Ability to work across departments and influence change. + Coordinate weekly tire build and machine scheduling, ensuring required tooling is available. + Order and track tooling, spare parts, safety equipment, office supplies, and production equipment. + Maintain tooling database, inspection/repair records, and documentation for inventory control. + Assist area manager and supervisors with operational and administrative needs. + Plan and support meetings, including agendas, room set-up, minutes, and note distribution. + Manage confidential information and perform complex tasks within area of specialization. + Apply ESH work instructions daily, model exemplary safety behavior, and act immediately on hazards. + Perform other duties as assigned to support operational efficiency. **_NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed._** **THE ENVIRONMENT** + Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes, hearing protection, etc. + The job is within a climate-controlled environment. **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE** + Degree in Industrial Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience if no degree + Three or more years’ experience in an administrative support role + Experience in production scheduling, maintaining tooling records, assemblies, and orders in ordering systems + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
