Job DescriptionOversee the installation of tooling and equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.Develop and prepare bid packages for tooling installation projects, utilizing the 15% of tooling cost method.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align tooling installation projects with overall production timelines.Monitor and manage the tool installation process to meet specified deadlinesConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.Maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve tooling installation processes.Develop and manage the budget for tooling installation, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effectiveness.

QualificationsProven experience in tooling and equipment installations within the automotive industry.Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale installation projects.Expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis, particularly in preparing bid packages using the 15% of tooling cost method.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations related to automotive tooling and equipment installation.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
