Summary: Seeking a Tooling Engineer with expertise in high volume progressive die stamping tools for managing and troubleshooting over 1,000 client tools.
Requirements:
Experience with high volume progressive die stamping tools within the past 3-5 years Proficiency in inspecting finished dies for accuracy and functionality Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues for precision and quality Skilled in repairing and overhauling inoperable tools Experience obtaining quotes for new dies and repairs Capability to order tooling and components for new builds Supervisory skills for initial tool use in production Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, operating basic machine tools, mechanical and optical measuring devicesResponsibilities:
Manage client's tool inventory exceeding 1,000 units Troubleshoot issues with tools when they malfunction Replace old or repaired tools as needed Document new processes and reverse engineer old parts Utilize vision systems, CAD drawings, review blueprints Assist with first article inspection (FAI) to ensure new parts are correctPay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
