Job Title: Tooling Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role involves designing and developing metal tooling products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of precision tooling and die making to enhance production capabilities and drive innovation.

ResponsibilitiesDesign new tooling used to produce metal products, focusing on 3D design of high-quality metal stamping dies.Maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs, modifications, and research findings.Prototype and develop high-quality metal stamping dies and tooling for high-volume manufacturing processes.Create prototypes and test new tooling designs to ensure they meet production standards and specifications.Utilize R&D/Shop equipment such as Press Brake, Hydraulic Press, CNC Lathe, and Mill to build prototype tooling and dies.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing stamping processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.Proficiency in CAD software, with Solidworks preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.High level of precision and attention to detail.Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
