Tool & Supply Coordinator
Serve as a coordinating resource for management, hourly and salaried personnel in the daily operation and functions of the machining process and tool fabricating repair process under the direction of the Plant Manager. Manage, initiate, control and direct the activities of employees and equipment in their department. This position requires a significant amount of time to be spent on the shop floor directing and assisting tool room employees

Responsibilities
Issue, track, and receive work orders Print issue current revision of blueprints needed for production Input daily receipt of purchased items into PowerCerv Accurately stock all items (forged tooling, rework, purchased items) Expedite purchase orders Inspect, mark, and label all incoming inserts for turning dept. Monitor security system and alert maintenance of any system problems. Pull forge tooling carts for scheduled jobs, return items to stock process evaluated tooling. Set up all new items numbers in PowerCerv system Perform housekeeping duties daily Provide prompt courteous service to employees from tool crib window Provide first aid assistance to employees PowerCerv support assistance to employees at the tool crib window when issuing items to job or department. Auditing cycle counting Support Accounting and Accounting Manager as required
Qualifications
Basic Computer Skills with specific knowledge of Word and Excel Good people communication skills Organizational skills (must follow through follow-up) Blueprint reading Working knowledge of measuring equipment Understand metric system High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Characteristics
Ability to work all rotating shifts Ability to work overtime as required Must be willing to learn Work independently and as part of a team
