Job DescriptionThe Tool Shop Attendant is responsible for maintaining the tool crib which stores the tools and small jigs used by production. The attendant monitors the use of the equipment and ensures that the tools are kept in good repair. The attendant is responsible for two key tool crib functions: inventory and inspection of tools for wear and tear.
Receive, store, and issue tools used for production (including chemicals), and maintain records of equipment movement Visually inspection of tools and equipment for defects and wear and coordinate maintenance Mark and identify tools and equipmentSupport calibration activity under QA guidanceCoordinate with local suppliers to validate material order receipt, availability, alternateand due dateCreate SAP master data and purchase requestCoordinate with Strategic procurement for material consumption, batch order Quantityand order cyclePerform Good receipt and inventory adjustParticipate to Audit preparation and Audit processShop Floor Control Functions:Perform Aircraft Clip tools clean up using various methods such as Media BlastPerform daily consumable carts kitting activity and station deliveryParticipate in daily Production meetingQualificationsExperience in logistics or tool management in a manufacturing environment inventory management experience. Or relevant experience as it relates to the position General knowledge of hand, power tools, cutting tool related to aviation industryKnowledge of shop safety (clean as you go/FOD) and OSHA regulationsUse of Data collection program (such as SAP and Excel)High School Diploma or GED Additional Information
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a Segula Technologies and placed on assignment at our client´s facility
