Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Repair, modify, and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling. OEE (overall equipment efficiency) KPI within Operate Tool Room machines, including mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses, etc.Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, required equipment, and operations sequences.Provide support to other departments in order to resolve quality and production problems.Maintain parts inventory, work order entry, and other data entry tasks accurately.Record specifications, production operations, and final dimensions of tools for use in establishing operating standards target goal and procedures.Protect intellectual property and confidential information.Other related duties as assigned.Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures. Qualifications

Education/Skills:

High School General Education Required English FluentRequired Mold repair experience 3 yearsRequired experience with Tool Room machines, including mills, grinders, lathes, EDM 3 yearsWelding 2 years PreferredWorking in an injection, molding production environment-Tool Room 3+ PreferredMold troubleshooting skills RequiredAbility to polish cores and cavities RequiredProficient in Scientific Injection Molding principles PreferredAbility to work on hot runner systems and ability to connect and test plastic injection molds Preferred

Technical Skills:

Basic computer skills RequiredAbility to read blueprints PreferredExperience using an overhead crane for mold installation PreferredRun EDM Machine, make electrodes PreferredManufacturing environment. Some exposure to office environment. Additional Info
