Standard Duties:
Tool Room
Blueprint reading and interpretation.Set up and operate machine tools such as a manual lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.Programming various tool room machines via conversational and G&M coding.Understand heat treat principles of various tool steels.Understand and apply mathematics related to machine set up and fabrication of finished parts.Troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, and test a variety of tool room equipment.Perform equipment failure analysis and preventive maintenanceWork with the engineering staff and outside vendors regarding fabrication and tooling design.Visually inspects and tests finished parts for quality standards and functionality.Monitor equipment to detect malfunction and take appropriate action to resolveOperate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Fabricate and repair counters, benches, guarding and other structures.Program and operate 3D printers of multiple styles and material mediums.Work with vendors to gain supplies and materials as needed.Safety, Health and Physical Requirements:
Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand-up lifts.Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs. repetitively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to assembly, walking, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.Occasional climbing of steps.All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures.The noise level in the work environment is moderate.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.Ability to work overtime as assigned.Wear all required PPE and follow safety protocols.Ability to work at heights.Key Competencies:

High School diploma/GED or basic skills assessment required.Associates degree from a 2-year college or 5 years’ related experience and/or training in a facilities environment preferred.Experience:
Work experience within a manufacturing facility is a plus.Computer Skills:
