As a Tool Designer, you will be: *Designing tools that meet design standards are safe, functional, and producible, with or without reference. *Analyzing customer requests assigned by the group leader to offer the customer appropriate and effective solutions. *Producing 3D designs and detailed drawings. *Performing design reviews with internal customers. *Supporting the various projects for engine assembly lines and manufacturing lines. *Participating in problem-solving sessions, project follow-up, and technical brainstorming. *Making technical recommendations, when necessary, to project managers to optimize the design. *Analyzing and dispositioning non-conformities following tool inspection/reinspection. *Participating in tool validation during the tool try-out (as needed). *Providing user training on the use of tooling (as required). Education and Experience *College diploma with a minimum of 3 years" experience, and/or Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years" experience in mechanical design, preferably tooling. *Experience in die design is an asset.
