Responsible for issuing, receiving, and maintaining tools for project sites. This role ensures that workers have the correct tools and materials in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue tools and materials to project sites

• Receive and put away tools and materials returned from project sites

• Inspect tools for damage and coordinate repairs or replacements with the appropriate vendor

• Maintain accurate inventory through manual logs, HILTI, or database specified by FORTNA

• Track all tool inventory at project sites

• Ensure the tool crib is organized, clean, and stocked.

• Monitor stock levels according to project needs

• Place replenishment orders as needed to prevent delays in tool orders submitted by project sites.

• Work closely with Superintendents to understand specific tools and equipment needs for project sites

• Schedule trucks for tool delivery to project sites

• Ensure all safety gear is inspected upon return for further use (fall protection)

• Ensure all components are returned with material/equipment that may require multiple pieces to function properly
