This role will be an integral part of the team, helping execute day\-to\-day\. **What you'll be doing as a Tool Application Engineer** Contributing to the successful completion of major projects that support strategic priorities or difficult technical objectives, the Tool Application Engineering Specialist is responsible for selecting cutting tools, at the most economical cost, which will produce a part to Engineering and Manufacturing requirements\. The Specialist has the responsibility of approving special cutting tool designs and introducing new technical advancements in machine tool processes as well as maintaining an overview of cutting tool performance and usage\. Other functions include submitting reports on budgets, cost savings, labor, tool shortages and other information required by management\. **Qualifications** **What you need to be successful** + 2 years in aerospace or related manufacturing industry working in a Tool Application Engineering role or process improvement role\. + 2 years in aerospace or related manufacturing industry working with CNC machining or composite manufacturing\. + 2 years experience with customer service + Bachelors Degree is required\.
