We are hiring experienced Tool and Die Makers to join a world-class stamping and metal forming operation in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you’ll repair, build, and maintain progressive tungsten carbide lamination stamping dies and metal forming dies, helping to ensure optimal performance on the production floor. Interpret and work from blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings
Visualize and compute metal shapes, dimensions, and tolerances
Build jigs, templates, fixtures, and supports for part fabrication
Operate drills, grinders, milling machines, and lathes with expert precision
Cut, grind, and shape steel and carbide components
Assemble/disassemble tools and die components for timely repair and production support
Perform test runs, inspections, and repairs on tools and dies to ensure part quality
Enter tool data and updates into SAP
Support continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and tooling efficiency initiatives
Adhere strictly to safety regulations and PPE requirements (hard hat, face shield, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes)
What You Bring:10+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker
Strong background in progressive stamping operations; carbide lamination die experience preferred
In-depth knowledge of metalworking tools and practices
Advanced troubleshooting and assembly skills in die and tooling systems
Proven ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, scales, height gauges)
Strong mathematical skills including geometry, algebra, and trigonometry
Familiarity with metallurgic properties of materials used in die construction
Comfortable lifting heavy components and handling carbide tooling
Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work with minimal supervision
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

Pay Details: $39.86 per hour
