Tolls & Violations Analyst

A Day in the Life:

Tolls and Violations Analyst leverages data and technology to ensure the efficient and effective management of tolling operations, including processing violations, optimizing revenue collection, and identifying areas for improvement. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Data Analysis: Analyzing toll system data, including transactions and identifying anomalies and issues. Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the toll system to identify trends. Business Rule Analysis: Analyzing business rules and procedures (roadside and back office) to optimize revenue collection and minimize negative customer impact. System Development and Support: Supporting the development and maintenance of monitoring tools and applications used for in-depth toll system analysis. Reporting: Creating and revising reports for management regarding the electronic revenue program and toll collection activities. Violation Management: Processing violations and associated documentation, investigating driver/client inquiries, and escalating issues as needed. Collaboration: Working with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to achieve project goals and address issues. 

             

What We’re Looking For:

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends, and troubleshooting issues. Technical Proficiency: Experience with tolling systems, electronic payment systems, and related technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access. Knowledge of database concepts and potentially tools like Microsoft SQL and Oracle. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting. Relevant Experience: Experience in business/revenue collection operations, systems management, or financial analysis is often preferred. Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations. Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations  Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems Ability to drive process and organizational change. Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented mindset. Ability to see the big picture and leverage critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent organization, time management, delegation, and prioritization skills.
