Job Title: Title Clerk
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Title Clerk to manage and process applications for new and used vehicles. This role involves handling paperwork to establish or transfer vehicle ownership, including registration, license plate tags, and tax documents.

ResponsibilitiesVerify accuracy of VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens, and titles.Enter financial data into the accounting system and verify for accuracy.Submit title paperwork and monitor updates to customer accounts.Resolve title discrepancies, missing documents, or errors.Send out bills or contracts for signing.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Communicate with customers and provide updates in the tag process.Essential SkillsAdministrative customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Data entry skills.Experience as a Title Clerk.Strong internal and external communication skills.High level of attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.2-3 years prior experience in a Title Clerk role.Out of state experience highly preferred.Ability to work both independently and on a team.Ability to communicate across multiple departments.Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment, working within a team of five. The position requires collaboration with team members and communication across departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
