As the Payroll and Engagement Coordinator at Fraser Valley Brewery, you will play a pivotal role in both the operational efficiency and cultural vitality of the site. This hybrid position combines full ownership of hourly payroll administration—including processing, auditing, and compliance—with participation in employee engagement, internal communications, and community involvement. You’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy and timeliness while also planning and executing initiatives that foster a connected, inclusive, and motivated workforce.
Reporting to the HR Manager and supporting the Brewery General Manager, you will also provide high-level administrative support, including the creation of reports, presentations, and visual materials for leadership. You’ll be a key contributor to our World Class Supply Chain efforts by supporting coordination of town halls, and driving site-wide communication strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to support both people and processes.
What You'll Be Brewing:
Own weekly hourly payroll administration by processing for all unionized employees (DAR entry, discrepancy resolution, batching) while adhering to applicable payroll best practices, tax and CRA requirements, and applicable CBAs. Create weekly manpower schedules (union) in Dayforce for all departments. Ensuring all schedules are compliant with relevant collective agreements. Manage and track attendance, vacation, work orders. Manage reports including but not limited to seniority and timesheets and create system generated reports for presentation to departmental and brewery leadership. Perform data entry (Training Matrix, Ivara, changeover sheets, OPLs and departmental procedures). Manage employee sick time and administrative tasks associated with WI and LTD claims for hourly personnel, as well as support vacation tracking, training bookings, and scheduling coordination. Filter, prepare and respond to various requests for information from external sources or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source. Lead the planning and execution of internal brewery events, celebrations, and engagement initiatives by managing logistics, communications, budgets, and administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and reporting. Manage all internal communications across platforms (e.g., email, SharePoint, Yammer), ensuring timely and engaging messaging around key topics like holidays, safety, town halls, and employee programs. Coordinate and support brewery town halls, leadership meetings, and off-site events, including logistics, presentation materials, photography, and follow-up communications. Drive community engagement and volunteer initiatives by organizing events, liaising with Business Resource Groups, coordinating resources and vendors, and evaluating impact to inform future site strategy. Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Key Ingredients:
You have a high school diploma; post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. You have a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, with hands-on knowledge of payroll and office management systems such as Dayforce, Ceridian, and SAP. You have proven experience in internal communications, event coordination, or employee engagement. You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and have experience creating and managing reports, presentations, and data tracking tools. You exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. You have strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in optimizing processes. You build relationships and collaborate, across departments and levels of leadership, to get to the desired outcome. You love a challenge. You navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities quickly and adeptly while maintaining attention to detail. You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $54,300.00 - $71,300.00 (posting salary range) + 9% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
