Job Summary

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of the facility.

As a Mover / Labourer , you will:

• Responding to all customer furniture service requests promptly and efficiently
• Moving and installing furniture, appliances, and other equipment and supplies
• Delivering furniture to site or to storage with minimal damage
• Hanging whiteboards, artwork, shelving, dispensers, etc.
• Conduct minor repair work to furniture, doors, lockers and other equipment
• Accurate completion and updating of documentation and information (written & electronic).
• Assist with meeting room set-ups as required
• Assist Site Manager and Shift Supervisors as required, and collaborate with operational teams to achieve high-quality, customer-focused results
• He/she will protect their own health and health of others by adopting safe work practices and following all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

About you:

Possess excellent communication skills in English both oral and written Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record with a minimum 2 years driving experience in Canada Physical ability to carry out the duties of this position Comfortable with heavy lifting and extensive walking around the facility Ability to operate related equipment such as manual or electric tools Ability to work independently as well as get along with others Should be highly detail oriented as well as ability to multitask Must be aware and or trained on the safe use of equipment, site safety practices, fire prevention and work regulations
