JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of general labor functions to support operation requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains facility cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, disposing waste in the appropriate areas, and other activities while adhering to all legislated and industry safety standards.     Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or housekeeping role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Forklift operation skills – Counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck experience required, Floor Scrubber experience preferred, Order Picker/Cherry Picker experience is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment with changing temperatures. Ability to walk, squat, twist, bend, and kneel for intervals of 15-30 minutes. Ability to read/write and interpret documents, and do basic math. High school or equivalent level of education preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
