Title: Financial Analyst
Job Summary:

NetApp is looking for a tenacious Senior Finance Lead to join the Product Finance team, supporting platform strategy for NetApp. In this highly visible role, this individual will develop financial models to support senior management in strategic decision-making across the Product organization.

 

This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Engineering, Product teams, Sales, GTM, Accounting, and their related Finance partners to deliver actionable insights to influence financial results. Analytical thinking, crisp communication, effective business partnering and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are key to success in this role.

 

We’re looking for a self-motivated, strategic thinker who can dive into the details across a wide range of topics and provide rigorous analyses that drive executive-level business decisions and outcomes. 

Job Responsibilities: Develop financial models and conduct deep, data-driven analyses to frame and inform key strategic and investment decisions Partner with Product and cross functional teams to define new business models and cost savings focused programs. Provide in-depth product margin and Return on Investment analysis Perform product margin analysis to support deal negotiations Assist in evaluating potential M&A through financial modeling, and conducting due diligence Build strong working relationships throughout finance organization and cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, GTM and Accounting Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to support the finance team and company's strategic objectives Prepare succinct presentations for decision-makers, translating complex data into actionable insights Job Requirements: Strong analytical skills with proven capabilities in developing complex financial models to do scenario-based planning Experience in business partnering and presenting to an executive audience Passionate, accountable, self-motivated and ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance Strong organizational, communication, and influencing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to function well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Systems experience including Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, and usiness analytics a plus Education: BS/BA degree with 12+ years’ experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and /or Business Finance, Strategy & Operations

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $152K - $226K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
