Job Description

Support Sr Manager of International Banking (IB) Analytics Enablement to ensuring the implementation a global framework to standardize tools, process, and technology for employees across in the IB & Insurance Analytics team, as well as IB Pacific Alliance Countries (PAC) geographies.

 

Accountabilities:

Creative and flexible in working with our Technology partner to oversee their execution and the timeliness of deployment of the technical solutions to resolve technology infrastructure challenges for IB Analytics teams Drives usage of standardized tools, and processes (Confluence & JIRA) regionally that support better structure for our Data Scientists in delivering their data analysis work

 

Requirements:

Must understand the different tools and pipelines used for the infrastructure solution whether it is on premise, or Cloud based (Airflow, Spark, Python, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, MySQL, DB2, etc) Strong experience and proficiency in Confluence & JIRA Have prior experience with data engineering, programming, ETL, ELT, processes for data integration and ingestion. A good understanding of business systems analysis Agile and DevOps team experience to provide project management & business process re-engineering Experience building data pipelines, and composable cloud-based data platforms in Google Cloud Platforms (GCP). Experience with complex data, data mapping, user workflows and reporting Experience collaborating and working with DevOps and Scrum Teams Detail-oriented, proactive, and have an eagerness to learn and thrive on challenge Demonstrated proficiency in documenting and understanding end-user requirements, procedures, and workflow / process mapping Possess excellent interpersonal & communication (written/verbal/presentation) skills to effectively interact with all levels of management & audiences, business and/or technical Possess well developed analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

 

Experience:

Tech Manager: 2 years (Preferred) Confluence & JIRA: 2 years (Preferred)

 

Nice to Have:

Python coding skills an asset Prior Experience with Google Cloud Platform is an asset. Fluency in Spanish and English an asset
