We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Tile and Stone Manager to join a leading Company located in the Timonium, MD surrounding area.
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000
Job Responsibilities: Maintain and ensure the highest quality standards for the scheduling and installation of all commercial tile jobs.Review all tile jobs prior to the installation date. Forward any feedback to the Sales Team and Project Manager prior to the installation date.Visit ongoing and new job sites, make sure installers have all the materials, proper paperwork and make sure that all the installations meet the manufacturer's and company standards.Review measured tile projects with Estimators to guide them with the best installation methods.Review installation schedule and schedule requests. Ensure continued work for the tile installers.Communicate with Installers daily and update Salespeople/PM's on the progress of their jobs.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Pre-Con meetings, overseeing the installation process, managing punch list, project closeouts, coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly manpower, Procore, and maintaining clear communication with teams.Call installers to review their job and/or site visits for upcoming jobs.Communication with assigned FM's and Customers ahead of time to confirm the readiness of the project.Updates and continued training with NTCA, TCNA, ANSI, to include Subcontractor Crews. Also share information with Commercial Teams, FM's, PM's, Estimators, Sales.Responsibilities will also include day-to-day oversight and field management, as this position will lead field projects and serve as a key leader in tile and stone operations.Provide outstanding customer service and demonstrate that the customer always comes first.Displays a positive, constructive, 'can-do' attitude.Uses sound judgment and discernment skills.Takes ownership of one's own performance and is actively engaged in becoming proficient at their job.Ability to understand how one's tasks and responsibilities are related to other departments, the company business, and the local flooring industry.Works diligently and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.Projects' maturity and professionalism.Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.Strives to proactively identify potential problems and offers or suggests effective solutions.
Basic Hiring Criteria:Technical knowledge in the installation of ceramic/ stone, wood, vinyl and carpet.
Desired Qualifications:NTCA, TCNA, ANSI - Certifications.Slab Installation Training.
