As a Managed IT Services General Support Engineer, you will work directly with our highly trained consultants and have access to a large cross-section of client environments that develop your IT career.

Many of the job responsibilities required of a Managed IT Services General Support Engineer are directly related to providing superior support for client technology environments. Examples of assignments include:

Capturing client requirementsInfrastructure operations and managementAdopting and learning new technologiesPerforming Enterprise Administration and Engineering tasksTroubleshooting business application issuesHOURS- Monday to Friday 4PM-1AM CST
 

Basic Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience with Windows 10, Windows Server, virtualization, server management, storage, and general networkingProven experience with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, NTFS, and other common Windows server functionsOffice 365 user, mailbox, and policy administrationProven experience with VMWare VCenter, ESXi, Data Center Cluster Management, and Microsoft Hyper-VFoundational experience with application delivery platforms such as Citrix and Remote Desktop Services, advanced profile management, delivery controller management, providing clustered / highly available servicesMicrosoft Exchange troubleshootingExperience in large, complex environments with multiple locationsFamiliar with standard IT practices and policiesFamiliar with IT service management tools and processes (helpdesk, ticketing, etc.)Eagerness to contribute
 

Preferred Qualifications:

MSP ExperienceExchange patch and service pack managementExperience with NetApp Enterprise StorageMaintaining, patching and managing Citrix Applications / DesktopsStrong knowledge in design and implementation of Citrix Apps and Desktops from client to server including Netscaler and Access Gateway.Troubleshooting experience in enterprise level Citrix deploymentsCitrix Policy design and implementationExcellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skillsStrong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniquesStrong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skillsProven ability to work both independently and as a part of a teamDemonstrated ability to balance priorities
