Summary: 

This position will be responsible for the execution of Learning initiatives. Learning Manager oversees, coordinates, and executes learning and development. Serving as the primary point of contact for new hire on-boarding, and frontline leadership training needs (technical and soft skills).  This position will support Operations on OJT program as requested, measure the learner/retention experience from Orientation by launching and collecting surveys to identify improvement opportunities and implement feedback by partnering with Plant Operations and HRP.  This position will interact regularly with HR and Operations, as well as other management support and hourly Team Members and departments. The Learning Manager facilitates in person and virtual training sessions, in addition to conducting classroom seminars, team building activities, and train-the-trainer sessions.  Strong organizational and communications skills are essential for this role, as well as acute attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work well independently with little supervision. This position requires high levels of collaboration with cross-functional partners, such as Safety, FSQA, CI, Human Resources, Talent & Culture, and Operations Leadership teams. The Learning Manager compiles and maintains a variety of reports on individual and organizational developmental activities.    

Responsibilities Include:

Review training needs with complex/plant management teamsSchedule training requested by Plant Leaders in WorkdayDelivery and facilitating Leadership Development courses for Hourly Leads and Management in your plant and other locations based of needs of the businessIdentify gaps in training and work with the location leaders to close those gapsCollect and analyze course feedbackManage qualification process (Ops), including tracking of progress, and pay and job impacts once qualifiedDelivery of live training and organize facility-based training, e.g. Onboarding, leadership and soft-skill.Working with Plant Retention and Safety Committees to define, develop, and coordinate courses with Operation Leaders.Learning new training, tools, techniques, including certifications, as needed / requested   Serve as primary contact for Upward Academy initiativesServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Learning initiatives (Alchemy, Beekeeper, Workday, ASK HR and Service Now (SNOW), etc)Support and backup Orientation FacilitatorSupport and backup Hiring/Onboarding task and processesMaintain Plant/Complex Training-Learning MatrixSchedule and coordinate training requested by Plant Leaders in WorkdaySupport and align with Plant Goals (Safety, Turnover)
