**Job Summary:**
HCA Midwest Health is seeking a thoracic surgeon to join our group of highly skilled surgeons in the Kansas City Metro
**Qualified Candidates:**
+ Thoracic surgery fellowship & ABTS certification required
+ Broad skillset in thoracic surgery, a subspecialty interest is preferred
+ Ability to obtain licensure in Missouri and Kansas
**Program Highlights:**
+ Offers the opportunity to be part of Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Network of HCA Healthcare with the ability to collaborate with leading oncology experts nationwide
+ Dedicated thoracic surgery team including experienced OR nurses, surgical technologists and physician assistants who specialize in thoracic procedures and complex post-operative care
+ Comprehensive surgical resources including advanced imaging systems, navigational bronchoscopy and specialized instrumentation for both open and minimally invasive approaches
+ Thoracic surgeons operate in two metro facilities with a robust and growing structural heart program anchored at Research Medical Center
+ Educate the next generation of physicians through our ACGME accredited cardiology fellowship program
+ Ability to participate in a full array of industry-leading, innovative clinical trials and contribute to the extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications
