The Thin Films Equipment Technician position at Micron provides an outstanding opportunity to be part of a team that is leading the way in manufacturing innovation. Our manufacturing team in Manassas, VA, is dedicated to crafting flawless products with a dedication to excellence. As a Thin Films Equipment Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our ambitious team to implement solutions that meet our strict quality standards, and your contribution will be vital to our success.
Responsibilities:Operate and maintain thin film deposition equipment to ensure flawless production qualityPerform regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtimeCollaborate with engineering teams to successfully implement process improvementsMonitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiencyStrictly adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentMinimum Qualifications:Education in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) including night shiftPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldExperience with semiconductor manufacturing processesFamiliarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologiesCertification in equipment maintenance or relevant technical areasAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
