Job Description
The Therapy Area Lead (TAL) is responsible for developing and executing medical affairs plans related to their assigned therapy areas (TA) in PACE/SEE/Baltics Cluster.
TAL is as well expected to be impactful member of regional, cluster and countries cross-functional teams.
Strategic Activities
Planning and implementation of regional/cluster medical activities within the therapy area(s) in PACE/SEE/Baltics countries by:Developing Medical Affairs Plan (MAP) for PACE/SEE/Baltics Cluster including relevant strategies related to SMART plan imperatives and reflecting specifics for the cluster (e.g. different standard of care, reimbursement timelines, etc.)Conducting sustained dialogue with PACE/SEE/Baltics scientific community, centering on science and the credible exchange of unbiased scientific information and insights collectionPreparing and executing sponsored educational activities based on defined HCPs needsPrioritizing and defining development areas to meet all scientific and medical needs as well as clinical care gapsPlanning, initiation and implementation of Local Data Generations (or other study types initiated locally) including preparation/review of protocols as needed in alignment with product franchise strategy, securing Sr. Management ApprovalImplement publication policy for the therapy areas, e.g. securing production of review articlesActively search for meetings, symposia, congresses, Continuous Medical Education (CME), research grants/fellowships which could bring additional value to the relevant therapy areaWith focus on key SL in PACE/SEE/Baltics countries build relevant SL engagement plans and engage SL in a balanced scientific InteractionPlan and execute cluster Advisory BoardsProvide input to Global Medical Affairs strategy by insights collecting and timely reporting Represent PACE/SEE/Baltics Cluster in front of Regional Medical Affairs team (RDMA), and sustain constant cooperation with this functionIn cooperation with GCTO secure input to our company's HQ-sponsored study allocation as well as national company site selection and investigators. Maintain and update information for local study feasibility on continuous basis and provide timely reply to HQ Request for Information for local study feasibility.Attract International Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and our Research Lab studies to the countries of the PACE/SEE/Baltics Cluster.Closely and actively cooperating in cross-functional cluster, countries and regional teams in order to provide scientific input to HH teams strategies and activities (i.e. HTA, reimbursement strategy, discussions/negotiations with KDM, providing insights and scientific data for planning promotional strategy and other).Maintain high level of expertise in the therapy area and be recognized externally and internally as the scientific lead for the relevant therapy area.Required skills

The position requires either a Medical Degree (preferred) or a PhD/PharmaD in life scienceRelevant prior experience can replace the above-mentioned degree requirementsCurrent Employees apply HERE
