The PATS - Accountant will play an important and dynamic role in the day-to-day operation and success of the Club’s business operations. As a member of the Business Operations department, the Accountant will play a dynamic and integral role in the Regina Pats finance department. This position will report to, and work directly with, the Manager, Finance & Administration and be responsible for monthly tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparing invoices, as well as assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The role will require an individual who is available to work a variety of irregular work hours including all game days/nights (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare invoices, receive payments, and complete bank deposits Prepare and post journal entries Complete bank reconciliations Assist with cash outs, merchandise, and inventory counts Reconciliation of monthly credit cards Data entry of various transactions Other tasks as assignedRegina Pats Community Foundation
Assist with the operation of the Regina Pats Community Foundation. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Setting up 50/50 raffles for each Regina Pats home game Scheduling volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets Reconciliation of sales at the end of each 50/50 Tracking and documenting all 50/50 sales Payment of volunteer honorariums Other tasks as assigned#LI-onsite
