Job DescriptionDevelopment of new textile reinforcement materials for ContiTech products, with focus on conveyor belts (worldwide)Development of textile based composite technologies (reinforced rubber, plastics)Definition of technical specifications and requirementsSupport serial introduction of new technical textiles and products thereof, including smpling, lab testing/evaluation, manufacturing, product testingProvide Materials science expertise, drive knowledge sharing, and support in problem-solvingCentral R&D contact for ContiTech worldwideMaintain our technology leadership, drive sustainability & innovationIdentify and implement optimization potentials Drive activities to improve and standardize procedures as a part of a lean and agile organizationLead cross-functional projectsClose cooperation with Purchasing, Process Development, Product Development, Testing labsQualificationsAcademic degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar qualificationExperience in development of technical textiles (cords, yarns, fabrics)Experience in development of reinforced rubber or composites materialsKnowledge in textile materials testing methodsStrong analytical skills - problem solving, decision making, data classification, examination of correlations, etc.Strong customer-oriented thinking, ownership, and collaboration skillsSense of urgency in completing projects on time and effectivelyIntercultural fluencyProject management experienceFluent English and Hungarian language skillsApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
