Collins Aerospace - Pueblo site, is looking for Textile Process Engineer II, who will be responsible for monitoring and improving the Textiles processes and equipment. This includes taking an active role in improving department safety metrics, implementing CORE initiatives, and improving process quality. This position is also responsible for managing Textiles process and equipment modifications/installs, ensuring operator processing procedures are accurate. 

Position is working onsite at our Pueblo, CO facility

What You Will Do

Ability to evaluate his/her work, as well as direct reports, and exercise judgment

Actively monitor key process parameters and take appropriate action when required

Effectively communicate process health to all stakeholders and escalate issues when needed

Perform statistical analyses to identify process trends and take corrective actions

Propose and manage large projects (>$1M) at the moderate to complex level

Troubleshoot and assist maintenance with machine problems/ improvements

Ensure Textiles department documentation is clear and accurate (SOP’s, work instructions, engineering forms, etc.)

Provide production engineering support using MES/ERP systems

Take an active role in meeting department and site CORE requirements

Conduct on-the-job training as required for new and existing employees

Assist operators with equipment troubleshooting

Ensure all equipment and process modifications are compliant with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements

Maintain a high commitment to quality, thoroughness and efficiency in all work aspects

Observe and follow all quality, environmental, health and safety procedures

Comply with all other Collins Aerospace policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or automation experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Experience in Statistical / data analysis for report reviews.

Experience in machinery/ mechanical components.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in PLC controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)

Basic SAP knowledge

Very good communication skills and team work skills

Experience in Project Management.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
