The main cutter is responsible for accurately cutting fabrics or other materials according to the Supervisor's instructions, assignments, or specifications to ensure efficient production and minimize waste. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of materials and cutting techniques.
Work Experience
Interpret and follow cutting instructions, measure, and/ or templates.Lay out the material and inspect for defects or inconsistencies.Operate a cutting machine or any other assigned equipment.Ensure accurate cuts to minimize material waste and maintain quality standards.Maintain and sharpen cutting tools and equipment.Collaborate with the supervisor, shift lead, and production staff.Keep records of material use and pieces cut, putting cut materials information on the containers picking sheets accurately.training and execution of company QMS, in a special production router handling.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.Lead and supervise the assigned cutting assistant, working as a hands-on team to accomplish daily cutting tasks efficiently.
