About the role We are looking for an Textil & Sewing Engineering Technician to support the industrialization product in Echallalate MSA Plant working with R&D over the MSA plants, and internally with all Opex department to improve plant KPI’s.This role will contribute to strengthening our commitment to our customer and our customer’s loyalty to MSA. If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sewing machines and related textile equipment. Assist engineers in developing and improving textile manufacturing processes. Support pattern making, cutting, and sewing activities for prototypes and small production runs. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Conduct testing of textile materials to assess durability, strength, and functionality. Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize workflow and efficiency. Implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity. Maintain accurate records of production data, maintenance logs, and testing results. Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed on the production floor. Provide training and support to production staff on machine use and sewing techniques. Qualifications Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Technology. 3+ years of experience in textile manufacturing or sewing operations preferred. (Type: Work Cloth, Public Uniform, Suits…) Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, flatbed, etc.). Familiar with textile properties and garment construction techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Ability to use Tools of problem resolution (6sigma, 5why, 8d...) Lean-Manufacturing is a plus Microsoft Office 365
