How will you make a difference?

The Texas & Mexico Manufacturing Finance Analyst will support financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting for locomotive manufacturing in Texas and Mexico. This role involves partnering with operations teams to achieve production targets for New and Mod locomotives, ensuring strong controllership, and driving excellence across the Global Supply Chain Finance organization.

What do we want to know about you?

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.ERP knowledge, preferably Oracle Costing & Inventory.Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated financial analysis skills.2-3 years of experience in a financial role.Understanding of financial statements.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

What will your typical day look like?

Manage cost and inventory financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting for Texas Locomotive and Mexico (MSA).Collaborate with operations, materials, and quality teams to establish standard processes with proper inventory routines and controls.Lead and support monthly closing activities and provide ad hoc analysis.Ensure proper controllership and financial support for the Texas Distribution Warehouse.Consolidate documentation for IPEs for future references and external audits.Serve as the finance inventory expert for Texas and Mexico, including new system implementations and Oracle functionality.Develop models to perform scenario analysis quickly and accurately.Drive continuous improvement in process and system tools to facilitate PI reconciliation and data entry.Identify risks and opportunities, and take actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Assist in the analysis, forecasts, and reviews of functional costs.Provide detailed evaluation and tracking of capital assets.Develop and maintain financial models for cost analysis.Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.Identify and address discrepancies in cost reporting.Provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.Provide support for all internal and external audits.

$89,100.00-$126,900.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
