Cooling Lab Testing Manager

Summary of Job Roles\:
· Candidate will be Managing the day to day activities of Psychrometric Lab & Chiller Lab.
· The day to day activities of Labs are;
o Installation, Commissioning & Performance testing of Precision Air Conditioners, Air Cooled & Water-Cooled chillers (Internal Engineering tests as well as Customer tests) as per AHRI/ Eurovent standards.
o Plan, Assign, Monitor & Keep in track the Periodic Maintenance of the Lab infrastructure to avoid down time of labs.
o Make sure the lab instruments are periodically calibrated as per ISO17025 standards by NABL certified parties.
· Co-ordinate with Front office team to understand the test requirements of Customers, validate the test feasibility & provide the confirmation.
· Co-ordinate with Production team to get the unit availability dates and plan the testing activities accordingly.
· Co-ordinate with administration team & host the Customers during their visit.
· Validate & develop the competencies of Lab Engineers & Lab Technicians.
· Co-ordinate with suppliers to procure required spares/ AMC activities/ PM activities/ trouble shooting.
· Maintain 5S and make sure everyone follows EHS rule in the work area.
· Preventive maintenance of test labs.
· Identify critical spares and maintain inventory / safety stock
· To maintain inventory of all consumables required at lab.
· Improve productivity at lab by minimizing test duration.
