Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Rest Assured, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and Karate. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, and Rest Assured.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas for automation.
- Implement and maintain frameworks for test automation, enhancing scalability and reusability.
- Conduct API testing using Rest Assured and Karate to validate backend services and integrations.
- Work with Java-based automation frameworks to optimize performance and reliability.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of test automation deliverables.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to best practices in QA and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in automation testing with tools like Selenium, Cucumber/BDD and Rest Assured
- Experience on automation frameworks lik Karate/Playwright/Cypress (atleast one of them is mandatory)
- Strong programming skills in Java & Javascript with experience for Automatng on both UI & Services tiers
- Experience with SQL and ability to write queries for test validation and reviewing data
- Strong experience in API testing and integration validation
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Knowledge of cloud–based testing environments (e.g., AWS)
- Experience in Agile methodologies
General Expectation:
1) Must have Good Communication
2) Must be ready to work in 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Shift
3) Flexible to work in Client Location at Manyata or EGL, Bangalore
4) Must be ready to work from office in a Hybrid work environment. Full Remote work is not an option
5) Expect Full Return to office from Oct'25"
