As Test Engineer you will be in charge of the preparation, the setup and the execution of units validation test for Baker Hughes products, in particular Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines and Turboexpanders. The test engineer will assure that every activity related to the test is performed to the highest level of Safety and Quality and will draw an accurate testing report containing the contractual data to be provided to the Customers.

As Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Executing of unit validation test, inspection and data acquisition for use in the validation of products and services. Evaluating running parameters and system problems troubleshootingDrawing up accurate testing reportsReading technical documentation and coordinate activities on test bench ensuring that all activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental Health & Safety (HSE) and Quality guidelines and proceduresInteracting with Engineering and Testing teams concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions and suppliers. Active role in MFG-ENG design review processKeeping reliability of Testing assets and to support on proactive way all BH customers (internal and external)Supporting organization for design and construction of new test facilities, instrumentation systems and the development of test software providing ideas about test bench activities development and improvementCollaborating to test schedule providing detail information

To be successful in this role you will have:

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering/Technology or a technical/engineering high school diploma with at least 4 years of proven experience in mechanical or electrical activitiesBe able to understand and implement technical drawings (test procedures, wiring diagram, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc.)Have mechanical processing knowledgeHave strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal skills. Be able to work in team and independently. Have strong problem-solving attitudeHave experience in testing activitiesBe extremely motivated, determined, accounted and committedBe fluent in English and Italian and be eligible to work in EU

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with basic PLC programmingHave knowledge in rotating equipment philosophy, in particular Steam Turbine and Centrifugal Compressor included their auxiliariesHave knowledge in Turbomachinery operationTesting departments knowledgeOil&Gas products knowledge
