Summary: The Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist validates performance, scalability, and usability of the data mesh and self-service tools, ensuring reliable deliverables. *This role is based in Falls Church, VA with possible telework. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Conduct performance testing and produce Mesh Infrastructure Test Report Validate metadata harvesting and catalog accuracy Perform UAT for self-service portals Monitor data quality metrics and compliance Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts Familiarity with testing tools Knowledge of defect tracking and reporting processes Ability to perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field ISTQB or equivalent testing certification Mid Level (3-5 years, 2+ in DoD/healthcare) Minimum 3+ years in testing/QA Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Apache JMeter, sandbox environments. Familiarity with MIP and related data systems.
