Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, with proficiency in either Java or Python. The candidate should be familiar with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave and have experience in writing tests for a distributed system involving UI, APIs and/or Database.
The Opportunity:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java or Python.
Implement and execute automated tests for web UI using Selenium.
Utilize BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave to create and manage test cases.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Use Docker and Kubernetes for test environment setup and management.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to resolve them.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
Document test cases, test scripts, and test results.
What you need:
Proven experience in test automation using Java or Python.
Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
Experience in writing automated tests for web UIs.
Knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of data structures.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Familiarity with design patterns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
