Tester / 1st Shift Requisition ID: 43601 Job Location(s): Easley, SC, US Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: Supply Chain and Operations Work Location Type: On-site **Job Description** We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Tester Technician ​to join us at our diverse team in Easley. Testing and adjusting valves with a hydraulic test stand conforming to a written set of engineering specifications. This is a 1st Shift position. **Job Responsibilities** + Installing and removing test fittings. Installing orifice and/or plugs after test. Loading and unloading valves from test fixtures. + Transporting valves to paint line. Retrieving information from computers on testing instructions + Operating a hydraulic test stand. Maintain minimum production levels. Maintain a safe, clean work area (keeping oil off floor). Notify supervisor of shortages of testing supplies. + Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routing, work instructions and Engineering Test Orders + Using pneumatic torque tools.  Use pressure, flow, leakage, time, torque, and length gauges. Analyze defective valves and repair them to conforming specifications **Background & Skills** + High School diploma or GED equivalence + Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) + Must read and write legibly + Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively + Must have good motor skills.
