WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Interacts with other functional groups (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing) on routine technical matters.
Sets up and operates various test stands.
Configures test equipment for special tests as needed.
Interprets and records test results accurately.
Recognizes and isolates test equipment failures.
Takes electrical measurements and determines appropriate resistor values using strong math skills.
Uses diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units down to the sub-assembly and component level.
Reads and interprets technical data, including component maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Effectively communicates work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass-down, Engineering, Maintenance).
Performs technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.
Utilizes a limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.
Performs calibration, or modification of hardware, fixtures.
Prioritizes tasks to meet team and project goals.
Applies technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance, and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under dynamic conditions requiring some ingenuity and judgment.
Supports activities through problem resolution and preparation/maintenance of documentation.
Manages workflow within the area to achieve team objectives.
Evaluates and troubleshoots non-conformances.
Accurately records time changes, test data, and parts usage; requires limited data interpretation.
Utilizes multiple databases to generate or access information.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically, a HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
2+ years of experience trouble shooting Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) to component level.
Hands-on experience with test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators is required.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
2-year electronics degree
SAP and Team Center experience
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to respond quickly and adapt effectively to non-routine requests and situations with accuracy.
Ability to anticipate needs, be proactive, and apply sound judgment when making decisions.
