Work Flexibility: OnsiteSecond Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm EST)What you will do-
Perform testing on medical device products and components using automated, semi-automated and manual methods. Follow test request protocols and reports through mainly written but also verbally on the results of the tests. Evaluate data, understand, and articulate attributes of product and component performance.
Key Areas of ResponsibilityUnder minimal supervision, perform assigned development and verification tests on new and existing products per written/verbal instructionsSet up and perform tests and experiments of varying complexity and scope, which comply with Stryker requirements, appropriate FDA requirements and engineering standardsWill extract and process test data/findings into both formal written and verbal reports which comply with Stryker requirementsWill submit periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnelWill be required to provide guidance to contract support, new hires and internsWill interact with engineering and production project teamsWill be required to comply with documentation procedures and maintain test laboratory housekeeping standards to the highest levelWhat you need-High School Diploma or EquivalentAssociates or Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Sciences or Engineering - preferred Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), small power tools and common test/inspection equipmentIntermediate math and writing skillsElectrical/mechanical problem-solving skillsFunctional knowledge of mechanical systems or devicesDemonstrated mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills5+ years related technical experience beneficialTravel Percentage: 0%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
