Job Description
We are seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this position, you will play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.
ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.Document accurate data records and results in test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.Conduct basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies.Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.Essential SkillsElectrical and RF testing experience.Proficiency with circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.Experience with measuring instruments and electronic test equipment.Ability to follow test procedures and work instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills required, including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping and work instructions.Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability.High school diploma or GED required.Work Environment
The position is located in Chelmsford, MA. The role offers a starting hourly rate with the possibility for overtime. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
