What would you do as our Test & Manufacturing Support Technician
As our Test & Manufacturing Support Technician, you would support the efficient manufacturing of electronic assemblies by maintaining test equipment, assisting in product testing and diagnostics, and contributing to production process improvements.
You would also:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic test fixtures and production equipment, while supporting firmware version control and continuous improvement of production processes. Ensure accurate and up-to-date production documentation, promptly respond to breakdowns, and collaborate with engineers to resolve quality or throughput issues. Actively uphold and embody company values, code of conduct, and compliance standards through behaviour, training, and daily practices. Support team cohesion by assisting with new staff onboarding, helping colleagues beyond assigned tasks, and contributing to a collaborative work environment. Take initiative in improving KPIs by supplying relevant data, proposing action plans, and prioritising health, safety, and well-being in line with EHS procedures.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in manufacturing or production support with strong skills in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical assemblies. Solid understanding of electrical wiring, electronics, circuit diagnostics, and electronic product testing concepts. Proficiency in operating standard test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Skills in fine assembly tasks with good knowledge of electronic assembly materials like PCBs, connectors, and cabling. Competence in using PC hardware, operating systems, basic networking, and standard applications like Word, Excel, and file management tools; holds at least a Level 5 qualification in Electronics or a related field.
