Structural Test Labs
Bring your experience and ideas to help us support the flight test and fatigue test environments at Bell.You’ll work with other technicians and engineers to fabricate test frames and test machine components.These frames and components will be used for fatigue and static test machines and calibration fixtures.This role is an integral part of the testing team at Bell, working to further improve component lives and certification activities across multiple platforms.
What you'll be doing as a Structural Test Lab (STL) Test Machine Fabricator
Fabricate test frames and test machine components
Collaborate with test engineers to ensure that the assigned STL test machine component requirements are fulfilled based on specified drawings
Interacts with personnel in other laboratories to ensure a coordinated effort is maintained.
Interact with Manufacturing, Transportation, Maintenance, Quality, Dispatching, Tooling and various other departments of Bell to ensure continued support of assigned tasks.

Skills You Bring to this Role
Experience in structural steel work with strong mechanical skills.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and engineering instructions.
Experience in machine operation, including drill press, drop saw, and/or band saw.
Experience in oxy-acetylene cutting.
Knowledge of track torch operation and software.
General knowledge of welding and weld symbols, however NO welding will be required.
Good communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with the STL and other departments at Bell.
What you need to be successful
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Have your own set of hand tools.
Able to lift25 pounds.
Able to stand for at least 9 hours.
