The Boeing Company is looking for a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to join our team in Tukwila, WA.  This Lab Technician’s position will be in the NW Structural Materials Static Test lab and their work will be supporting the entire enterprise.

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities.  The ideal candidate will be able to manage tasks with accuracy, collaborate clearly and professionally with team members and business partners, and approach challenges with practical and innovative solutions.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Test & Evaluation Lab Technicians.

Position Responsibilities:

Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies

Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies

Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities

Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown

Conducts tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews

Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems

Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs

Coaches and trains others

Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in a calibration and/or testing laboratory

1+ years of experience leading or conducting complex flight and/or lab testing in an integrated test team environment

1+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Associates degree or higher

Experience with MTS software application programs (TWE, MPT, TW4, MTS 793)

Experience with operations of closed loop servo-hydraulic test systems

Experience in mechanical testing of aircraft materials, parts, and sub-components

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $51,000 – $69,000

Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3):  $59,500 – $80,500
